Feeling Separated from God?

Paul poses a question to the early believers which we've been considering the last two weeks.

Here is the question:

Can anything ever separate us from Christ's love? Does it mean he no longer loves us if we have trouble or calamity, or are persecuted, or hungry, or destitute, or in danger, or threatened with death? Romans 8:35 (NLT)

Here is the awesome answer:

No, despite all these things, overwhelming victory is ours through Christ, who loved us. Romans 8:37 (NLT)

Our God, who wants us to never be separated from him, offers us the power of Christ that we might have the ability to overcome 'stuff' we couldn't overcome without his power. With the message this weekend we learn that committing to God's program and immersing ourselves in the spiritual disciplines prepares us to carry the conquering spirit into whatever the circumstances of life, that we might progress along the spiritual growth continuum with the intention of becoming fully Christ-centered.

This weekend we will conclude the series but for most of us, the journey of Romans 8 has just begun and will continue for as long as we're willing to drill down deep into the depths of God's word. Bring someone with you who needs to know and experience that Inseparable love of the Father who loved us and gave Himself for us.

See you at the Inseparable Place this weekend!

The Bible truly has some eloquent writing in it.

This blog post asks a question to the reader and then uses the Bible to answer it, and very convincingly.

Yet, can all answers to our questions be found in the Bible?

Maybe.

Can it be proven that the Bible was truly god-inspired?

No.

I respect your beliefs, but at the same time. Can a religion's holy book (The Bible) be used to justify a religion's own teachings?

This seems like a form of circular reasoning.

Yet, I suppose if you firmly believe in this one religion out of the thousands, then using the Bible as your guide makes sense if you wish to immerse yourself in the religion, rather than ask any probing questions about the religion itself.

If you want, check out our blog, we have several posts regarding religion that might shock you or interest you.
