Most of us really do want to know. How did the church get started? Where did all these denominations come from? Just what is the difference between protestant and Catholic? Was it always this way? Who decided the Apostle Peter was the first pope? Is that scriptural? Where did the idea of perdition come from? Who came up with the idea of paying penance?
