Why Be Baptized?

Jesus set the example:
“At that time Jesus came from Nazareth and was baptized by John in the river.” Mark 1:9

Jesus commands it:
“Go and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit.” Matthew 28:19

It proves we are His:
“We know that we have come to know Him, if we obey His commands.” I John 2:3

How could a small university become so large? When the tornados of February 5th shook her buildings but not her foundation, built on God Himself. This video is a powerful testimony to the power of God to protect in the midst of the storm. We do not claim to understand all His ways but we do bow in submission to them. We pray for so many who've lost so much and say THANK YOU to so many who, with great compassion, have reached out a helping hand. Thanks TVCC and other churches and communities for all you have done and will do in the wake of these terrible storms.
